You are in deep sleep and suddenly someone kisses on your forehead, wakes you up and makes you realize that there is a morning to look forward. This morning is a special one, special for the reason that this one morning change your life, change the way you live your life, change your perspective and you change because of the person who makes you realize the beautiful morning and the day ahead….
Truly, “WAKE UP SID” still remains a favourite movie of mine, needless to mention, because of the sheer honesty in which all the characters are portrayed. There is a SID and AYESHA in everyone of us…At one point of time, we all were a bunch of boys, carefree and dependent on our parents but then the dreams, ambitions brought the transition and we graduated from BOYS to MAN. We all have gone through the stage of FRIENDSHIP, having that one friend in our life whom we tag as “3 am Friend”, with whom we have just not shared our lives but ourselves too…In short, they are our reflection, someone who made us realize who we are, what we should do and our life is worth living…And, yes, like every true friend, we have also been through the stages of misunderstanding and rift…but then like RISHI, LAKSHMI and SID, true friends always come back together to live their life together….Yes, at times, we get betrayed and feel cheated, when we don’t find our friends besides us when we need them the most but then, even if they are not physically present, you can always feel the sense of belongingness in their absence.There is an assurance that somewhere my friends do think about me and they do miss me too the way I miss them….They are just not friends, they become our soulmates….
Am I missing something?? That one important thing that becomes the sheer reason for you to wake up everyday, that one person who is your world…the day starts and ends with the person..wherever he/she is doesn’t matter, the feeling itself is precious..and it’s invariably called as “LOVE”. We may be desperately searching for that one perfect person in our lives who can fit in every frame but then there is a beauty in imperfection!! Behind every maturity, there is a childishness which peeps in, behind every understanding, there are fights…sometimes, the best of friends becomes the love of your life and no, it’s not something which can be measured…rather, it’s something which can only be felt. The reason for your existence becomes that one person who is behind making your life beautiful….AISHA might have seen her BOSS to be a PERFECT partner but then she found that for life to get complete, there should be a bit of incompleteness, maturity might bring that near perfection but then the child inside can bring the happiness which we all long for….We all long for that one person who change the meaning of our LIFE alltogether….Suddenly, we love RAINS, we get hooked to romantic songs, we wear the COLOURS that we otherwise would never wear and as they say, it’s LOVE which brings a MIRACLE!!!
Waking Up has never been so refreshing…all it takes is to open your eyes, feel the warmth and you realize that there is a beautiful journey ahead with someone standing besides you holding your hands and help you take the journey….Are you still sleeping????
